About Circle J

Circle J Exotic Ranch is located in East Texas in the Polk County area. Circle J raises all breeds of exotic deer and African Hoof stock since 1995. The animals are on a year round protein feed that consists of; cow peas, wheat, rye grass and oats.

The terrain is large white oaks, red oaks and pine trees that border open feed plots with corn feeders that animals love.

The herd was developed 11 years ago which provides large trophy animals. Many of the animals are from large ranches including the Y.O. Ranch.

Being only 1.5 hrs from Houston and 3 hrs from Dallas makes the ranch a convenient weekend hunt without the tiring and expensive drive to South Texas. If you are a non-hunting guest, you can visit other attractions in Livingston. The Alabama Coushatta Indian Reservation, Lake Livingston, and Livingston Trade Days are just a few of the attractions nearby. If fishing appeals to you, we have stocked lakes with an abundance of black bass, as well as white tail hunting outside the high fence.

Our main lodge is a beautiful four bedroom two bath Lodge with three queen size and a set of bunk beds. We enjoy sitting by the fire and telling stories in the evenings after a great hunt. Most of the cooking is done outside on the pit.

All hunts are guided unless you are an experienced hunter. If you do not harvest an animal you will not be charge for a trophy hunt unless there is a wounded animal.

All of the animals will be scored by personnel certified by the Trophy Game Records of the World.
